Job Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry collection into specialized software program.
- Review, analyze & process legal invoices to ensure compliance with client billing guidelines.
- Make appropriate adjustments to invoices based on identification of billing noncompliance.
- Accurately code billing entries.
- Organize, extract & insert documents electronically utilizing Adobe Acrobat.
- Accurately post payments and balance accounts receivable.
- Assist/follow up with payment inquiries.
- Prepare spreadsheets.
- Communicate with clients, claims examiners, law firms, & third parties regarding billing issues.
- Effectively communicate knowledge of software program and services to potential and existing clients and third party administrators.
- Update contact information for claims examiners and law firms.
- Facilitate good customer relations between clients, law firms, and third party administrators.
- Perform general office duties such as scanning, copying, sorting, answering phones & preparing mail.
Requirements
- Ability to type over 45 wpm with accuracy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Strong basic math/accounting skills.
- Strong organizational & problem solving skills.
- Superior attention to detail & memory retention.
- Ability to multi-task, including the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to communicate clearly & concisely, both verbally & in writing, in dealing with clients, vendors and law firms.

- Background in insurance, law, accounting and/or medical billing preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

Overview
Account Manager at LegalNet serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, delivering exceptional client support, and fostering long-term relationships. This role combines client management, operational oversight, and team support to maintain LegalNet’s standards of accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence in the legal bill review process.
Job Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Implementation
Lead and coordinate the full implementation process for new clients joining LegalNet.
- Conduct onboarding meetings to gather requirements, define workflows, and set expectations.
- Assisting or recommending client litigation guidelines in accordance with client’s goals.
- Collaborate internally to configure systems, reporting, and workflows according to each client’s needs.
- Ensure a seamless transition into LegalNet’s bill review program
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison for all client inquiries, needs, and ongoing support.
- Respond to emails, questions, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong relationships through trust, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
- Travel nationwide to meet with clients on a quarterly basis for quarterly reviews, relationship building, and process improvement discussions.
Operational Support & Training
- Train new examiners on LegalNet’s bill review processes, tools, and standards.
- Provide refresher training or workflow updates to examiners as needed.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in bill review quality through adherence to LegalNet procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting workflow or process challenges and escalate as needed.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Oversee delivery of client reports, metrics, and performance updates.
- Monitor review timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements internally or for the client.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with IT, Operations, Billing, and Leadership to support client success.
- Provide client feedback to internal teams to enhance systems, services, and processes.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support organizational goals and client initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in account management, legal operations, insurance, or legal bill review is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to train others with clarity and patience.
- Comfortable with light travel (approx. 5 trips annually).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email communication, and web-based tools.
